Nicci
I'm a yoga teacher with over 20 years of personal practice and have been teaching since 2017.
Alongside my 200-hour yoga teacher training, I've completed specialist training in pre- and post-natal yoga, mum & baby yoga, family yoga, Yoga Nidra, restorative yoga, mindfulness, forest bathing and sound healing.
I love creating classes that feel welcoming, relaxed and accessible, with a mix of mindful movement, breathwork, relaxation and plenty of options to make the practice work for your own body. Whether we're moving, slowing down or simply taking a moment to breathe, my aim is always to create a space where you can switch off from the busyness of life, reconnect with yourself and leave feeling a little more at ease.

Megan
I've been teaching yoga for over five years, with a focus on functional movement and helping people move better, feel stronger and find more ease in their bodies for everyday life.
Alongside yoga, I'm also a trained Personal Trainer, which brings a deeper understanding of strength, mobility and how the body moves into the way I teach.
My classes are welcoming and adaptable, with plenty of options to work at your own level. I love creating thoughtful, flowing practices that offer a balance of movement, challenge and grounding, while encouraging you to explore what feels good and works for your own body.

Paula
I am a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with a passion for helping people reconnect with their bodies, find calm and support their overall wellbeing through movement and mindfulness.
I've been teaching since 2020 and am trained in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, alongside my experience as a meditation teacher, massage therapist and holistic practitioner.
My classes are welcoming, mindful and inclusive, with a focus on exploring movement with curiosity while building strength, flexibility and body awareness. I love creating practices that bring together purposeful movement, breath and moments of stillness, giving you space to leave the outside world behind and reconnect with yourself.

The History of Yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India over 5,000 years ago, rooted in spiritual traditions that sought to unite the mind, body, and spirit. The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit word yuj, meaning "to unite" or "to yoke." Originally, yoga was developed as a spiritual discipline, with early references found in the Vedas, ancient Hindu scriptures. Over time, it evolved through various traditions, including the philosophical teachings of the Upanishads, the structured eightfold path of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and the physical postures of Hatha Yoga. Today, yoga has spread worldwide, embraced for its numerous physical, mental, and emotional benefits while still honoring its deep-rooted traditions.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1
Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
No! Yoga helps improve flexibility over time, but you don’t need to be flexible to start. The key is to listen to your body and practice at your own pace.
2
What should I wear to a yoga class?
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for movement. Breathable materials like cotton or moisture-wicking fabrics are ideal. Avoid anything too loose that might get in the way during poses.
3
How often should I practice yoga?
Even practicing yoga once or twice a week can be beneficial. For greater flexibility and stress relief, aim for 3-5 sessions per week. Daily practice, even for just 10–15 minutes, can be transformative.
