Mum & Baby Petite Retreat
Escape, unwind, and recharge with our nourishing Mum & Baby Petite Retreat at Swim Spa Burton Joyce (Nottingham) . This unique wellness event is designed to nurture you, the mother - giving you space to focus on your mind & body to help you reset & relax! Being a Mum to a tiny baby can take it's toll, so making time for stress relief, self-care, or simply some time away from the day to day routine, our Mum & Baby Petite Retreat offers the perfect setting for you to find calm and relaxation.
This beautiful 3.5hr experience is £39pp (including post-natal yoga, baby yoga, spa and light refreshments), no previous yoga experience needed, suitable for pre crawlers (approximately 6 months but will vary by mother and baby) . Sessions are held once each month on a Tuesday 10-1.30pm.​​
What to Expect at Our Mum & Baby Petite Retreat

Welcome drink: Start your retreat with a refreshing welcome drink to set the tone for relaxation

Mindful Breathing; Simple techniques that help you to calm your mind and body, soothe your nervous system and become more present.

Post Natal Yoga: Gentle post natal yoga sequences to create more comfort and ease in your body. Safely re-build strength and help you feel more connected to your body. The Yoga, meditation and relaxation is held in the heated event tent.

Baby Yoga: Stretches, swings and songs to playfully bond with your baby. Baby yoga can also support sleep, relive symptoms of wind, colic and constipation and support your babies natural development.

Guided relaxation: Unwind with a guided relaxation session to help release tension and stress from the body.

Delicious nutritious smoothie (or soup in winter): Nourish your body with a healthy smoothie or a comforting bowl of soup.

90-Minute access to Swim Spa facilities: After your wellness session, indulge in the Swim Spa pool, hot tub, and sauna for the ultimate relaxation experience.

After the yoga & refreshments, babies can settles in their pushchairs whilst you enjoy the spa facilities. Laura (from SwimSpa Burton Joyce) and I are on hand to help rock or walk the babies in their pushchairs around the garden, if needed. ​​​
Set in a peaceful outdoor environment, our Mum & Baby Petite Retreat provides the both perfect way to bond with your baby and also take time out to escape, switch off and reconnect with yourself.
