The History of Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India thousands of years ago as a system for improving physical and mental well-being. Over time, it evolved to include a wide range of techniques focused on posture, breath control, and concentration. In the 20th century, yoga gained global popularity as a form of exercise and stress relief, blending traditional movements with modern fitness approaches. Today, it's practiced worldwide in various styles, offering benefits like increased flexibility, strength, and relaxation.
