Seated Stretch Spa

This unique wellness event is perfect for those looking for a more gentle yoga practice with the use of a chair to support all postures (asanas), or with limited flexibility and / or mobility. This 'Petite Retreat' is designed to help you relax, rejuvenate, and reset both body and mind. Whether you're seeking stress relief, self-care, or simply some time away from the hustle and bustle, our Seated Stretch Spa offers the perfect setting for you to find calm and relaxation.

This beautiful 3.5hr experience is £39pp (including chair yoga, spa and light refreshments), no previous yoga experience needed, ladies only. Sessions are held once each month on a Tuesday 10-1.30pm.

Each Seated Stretch Spa - Petite Retreat is a 3.5-hour session held at the luxurious Swim Spa Burton Joyce, surrounded by serene outdoor beauty. The event includes:

 

  • Welcome drink: Start your retreat with a refreshing welcome drink to set the tone for relaxation

  • Grounding meditation: Center yourself with a calming meditation that helps you tune into the present moment.

  • Breathing / Pranayama; Simple techniques that help you control your breath to calm your mind and body. 

  • Chair Yoga: Chair yoga offers a gentle way to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and enhance circulation, making it especially beneficial for those with limited mobility or balance issues. It promotes relaxation and overall well-being—all from the comfort of a chair.

  • Guided relaxation: Unwind with a guided relaxation session to help release tension and stress from the body.

  • Delicious nutritious smoothie (or soup in winter): Nourish your body with a healthy smoothie or a comforting bowl of soup.

  • 90-Minute access to Swim Spa facilities: Hydrotherapy, including heated water and saunas, helps ease joint pain, relax muscles, and improve circulation, making movement easier and more comfortable for those with mobility issues.
